On a glorious Wednesday evening (for a change) and a well-prepared flat batting track, Shelf restricted the Royal Mail to 90 all out from their 16 overs.
 
This was achieved through good bowling performances from all the bowlers, with S Abass 2-21, A Lal 3-23 and N Bottomley 2-20 being the pick of the bunch.
 
This score was never going to be enough for Shelf’s attacking batting line up and Shelf cantered to an 8-wicket victory with 7 overs remaining, courtesy of Lee Butterfield (53no) and Steven Priestley (35no).
